We found this awesome nativity scene bulletin board while perusing Pinterest - it comes from Jo Place and her awesome kiddos! We love the mix of textures, colors, and the fact that it offers a collaborative project for your students to work on leading up to Christmas!

Nativity Mural Bulletin Board

  • Background: Cover the board with the royal blue bulletin board paper then, using scissors, cut a large sloping piece of natural butcher paper {leaving the top edge uneven} to create a mountain.
  • Title: "Unto Us A Child Is Born!"
  • Border: Complimentary solid color trimmer.
  • Decoration: Provide your kiddos with paper of different colors, patterns, textures, etc. and have them create the nativity elements - the town of Bethlehem, the stable, Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, the wisemen and their camels, the host of angels, and the shepherds with their flock. This is a fun way to get your students involved and tap into their creativity!
