This didn't start out as a bulletin board, rather a festive door plaque, but we think it could be enlarged to create an adorable display for the classroom this Christmas season! Created by Andrea of Hand Make My Day, we love the color scheme, the play on words, and the overall festive 'feel' of the design. Here's how you can make your own...

Paint the World with Cheer Bulletin Board

  • Background: White bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "Paint the World With Christmas CHEER!"
  • Border: None needed.
  • Decoration: Freehand or find the clip art image of a paint brush online to enlarge and trace onto bulletin board paper. You'll need red for the handles, tan for the bristles, and gray for the connectors. Once the pieces have been assembled and mounted on the bulletin board, use a black permanent marker (or markers in the same shade as the bulletin board paper) to add detailing - add tacks and "rivets" to the "metal" connector, define the "bristles" of the brush, etc. Mix various shades of green craft paint, painting a portion of each brush to make it look as if it has been "dipped" in paint, as well as the bulletin board below it. If you have board space left, add fun circles and designs with the craft paint or paper scraps.
