Where Your Treasure Is There Your Heart Will Be Also!
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
We had plans to move on from our St. Patrick's Day features to showcase some great designs for spring, but we couldn't miss out on this last colorful holiday design by Emmy Sichelstiel! We just love the vibrant colors, the personal elements, and the positive message - a message that will remind your students to treasure what matters most!
Where Your Treasure Is...
- Background: Light blue background paper.
- Title: "Where Your Treasure Is There Your Heart Will Be Also!"
- Border: Rainbow themed trimmer or multi-colored border.
- Decoration: 1) The Rainbow. Freehand or trace a rainbow shape onto white bulletin board paper, using craft paint to color it in, or cut arched strips of bulletin board paper in assorted colors, fitting them together to create a rainbow cutout. [NOTE: Arc the rainbow toward the side of the bulletin board, using it as a natural border.] 2) The Pot of Gold. Freehand or trace a cauldron shape onto black bulletin board paper. Make sure the top of the pot is the same width as the end of the rainbow cutout so that they'll overlap nicely! 3) The Photos. Have your students bring in photos of them with their families to place around the pot of gold.
