Hangin' With My Peeps! - Easter Bulletin Board Idea

By Kayla • April 3, 2018

Elementary Easter Bulletin Board Idea

Are you familiar with the popular Easter candy marshmallow peeps? Found in a variety of flavors and colors, these sweet chick and bunny shaped treats would make a fun and vibrant spring/Easter themed bulletin board idea! The mock-up above shows a "box" of bunny peeps, incorporating bunny candy cutouts that you can print student names on as well as a cutesy play on words!

Hangin' With My Peeps!

  • Background: White bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "Hangin' With My Peeps!" - We set "Peeps" apart by making it look like the candy logo on the box.
  • Border: Polka dot trimmer reminiscent of the candy packaging and a matching solid trimmer.
  • Decoration: 1) The Candy Box. The top and bottom of the "box" is created using the polka dot border, while the sides of the box are made using a matching solid trimmer. Create the "Peeps" logo using navy and yellow background paper - either freehand the letters and shapes or use your classroom projector system to enlarge and trace the image. 2) The Peeps. We found a bunny peep template over at Cute As a Fox. Simply download, print onto colored card stock or construction paper, cut out, and pen student names onto the shapes.
