Welcome to Our Neck of the Woods! - Camping Themed Welcome Board
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
With vibrant colors, fun characters, and a mix of cutesy patterns, this camping/wilderness themed welcome board would make a great addition to any early childhood learning space! We especially love that, with the exception of the background trees, the board is no muss, no fuss option for those who may not have the time to custom make every board - i.e. all of the elements can be purchased from your local or favorite online teacher store!

Whether you use this as a door display or a welcome board in your classroom, it might be fun to print student names onto the colorful acorn cutouts and arrange them around the display.
Welcome to Our Neck of the Woods!
- Background: Natural brown butcher paper.
- Title: "Welcome to Our Neck of the Woods!"
- Border: Complimentary colored/patterned trimmers.
- Decoration: 1) The Animals. The board features Carson Dellosa's Moose & Friends bulletin board set. 2) The Trees. Find a clip art image online, using your classroom projector system to enlarge and trace the image onto white background paper. Use craft paint to color in the trees and, when dry, cut the tree shapes out and mount them to the bulletin board. 3) The Acorns. As stated above, you can add your students' names to the display with cutesy acorn cutouts. The Moose & Friends bulletin board set comes with a combination of large and small acorns (45 total), but Carson Dellosa also offers larger acorn accents as well.
