Kindergarten is: 3rd Rock From the Fun! - Space & Reading Themed Back-To-School Board
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Have you considered a space theme for back to school? We just love this reading and space themed design from Lori of Mud Pie Studio and think it would make a great addition to any early childhood learning space!
Covering the bulletin board with black background paper and adding a shiny silver and gold tinsel garland as a border, Lori hand painted/made all of the fun children's book characters and elements you see on the board! Pinkalicious hanging from a star. Dr. Seuss's The Cat riding a rocket. The Very Hungry Caterpillar crawling through the sun's rays. Curious George swinging from Saturn's rings. The mouse from If You Give A Mouse A Cookie riding in a spaceship. Greg Heffley, star of Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, making friends with an alien on a new planet. Even the foil stars arranged throughout the characters!
If you have the time (and talent!) this is a super fun back-to-school/reading themed board that is sure to catch the kiddos' attention!
