Jesus Colors Our Lives! - Spring Bulletin Board

By Kayla • April 3, 2018

Christian Spring Bulletin Board IdeaI {Kayla} was so inspired by this bulletin board designed by Jaime, elementary art teacher and creator of the blog, Chin Colle, that I couldn't help but tweak it a bit to create my own spring display! We've been busy this first quarter, putting decorations on the back burner, and I figured it was high time that we added some color to the hallway walls. I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! {As you can see, it's still on my craft room floor... I'll be sure to take a better picture of it when it's up on the wall and there's proper lighting!}

Jesus Colors Our Lives!

  • Background: Light blue bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "Jesus Colors Our Lives... When We Invite Him Into Our Hearts!" - I used my Silhouette machine to create the lettering.
  • Border: Multi-colored border or spring themed trimmer.
  • Decoration: I used craft paint to draw and color the rainbow shape on the background paper. From a scrap of light blue bulletin board paper, I created the cross cutout; using brown craft paint to create the shape and, when dried, cutting it out and attaching it to the board. To get the three-dimensional look, I used my Silhouette machine to cut heart shapes from colored card stock, folding the cutouts in half, and arranging them on the rainbow shape.
