How cute is this back-to-school bulletin board display created by Stephanie, one of our readers?!? We love the fall setting for back-to-school and who could resist the ever popular Peanuts characters. The saying "Happiness is Making New Friends" is welcoming and perfect for making your kiddos feel at home in their new class this fall. Can you believe it - we're already approaching fall and the start of a new year. Time sure does fly by!

"Happiness is Making New Friends"

  • Background: Fall-themed bulletin board paper (Autumn Landscape by Pacon).
  • Border: No border is necessary.
  • Title: "Happiness is Making New Friends" - Stephanie found a free Peanuts font online she used to create the speech bubble. You could also purchase letters in the Peanuts font if you'd prefer a larger title across the top.
  • Decoration: 1) Trees - create the trunks and branches using scrunched up brown butcher paper. 2) Leaves - Use leaf accents to decorate the tree and ground (write each students name in a leaf). 3) Characters - Stephanie used a package of Peanuts Wrap-Arounds by Eureka. They're perfect for peaking around the trees and they come in several sizes so you can place the larger characters up front and the smaller characters towards the back for perspective.
