If I Had A Pet Turkey... - Thanksgiving Activity & Bulletin Board

If I Had A Pet Turkey Thanksgiving Activity and Bulletin Board Idea

If you could use a bit of inspiration, here's another last minute Thanksgiving activity and bulletin board idea to complete with your kiddos or save for next year! Not only is the design super simple (and mostly student created), the activity is also great for inspiring your students' imaginations!

"If I Had A Pet Turkey..." Activity Page

Nothing fancy required; we created a simple activity page (pictured above) for students to fill out/share a few details about their pet turkey - e.g. what their turkey looks like, what they feed their turkey, and what they like to do with their turkey. Mounted onto colored construction paper, the completed worksheets are eye-catching and fun to read!

If I Had A Pet Turkey...

  • Background: Light blue bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "If I Had A Pet Turkey..."
  • Border: Fall themed trimmer.
  • Decoration: Arrange your students' completed activity sheets around the bulletin board. If you have room, add a turkey cutout to the center of the board. We suggest drawing the shape, using your classroom projector system to enlarge and trace a clip art image, or purchasing a pre-made cutout through your favorite teacher supply store.
