Building Character Bulletin Board
- Background: Red bulletin board paper.
- Title: "Give People Something To Be Thankful For...YOU!"
- Border: Skinner used a solid brown wavy trimmer, but you might consider a harvest- or Thanksgiving-themed bulletin board border as well.
- Decoration: 1) The Turkey. Create a turkey body, neck, and head from brown bulletin board paper. You can freehand the cutout or you might be lucky enough to find a a black and white clip art print or image to "blow up" using an overhead projector. Add detailing with assorted colors of construction paper or card stock - a buckle hat, feet, a beak, and wattle. 2) The Turkey Feathers. Cut feathers from assorted colors of construction or bulletin board paper. Use a permanent marker to script a good character trait onto each feather. 3) The Details. Create leaf cutouts from construction paper and affix them randomly around the edges of the bulletin board.
Help your students build good character traits - one feather at a time - with this holiday bulletin board from Bulletin Board for Business!
