Happy Earth Day!

How cute are these Earth Day superheroes from Dawn Lue Pann over at Buzzing About Second Grade?! While we should be aware of the importance of taking care of our planet each and every day, Earth Day provides a wonderful opportunity to get your kiddos excited about doing their part. We're sure they'll have a blast taking the role of 'superhero for the Earth' - discovering how important the Earth's resources are and exploring how they can 'save the day'!

Earth Day Superheroes!

  • Background: Bright blue bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "We Can Save The Earth!", "Earth Day Superheroes!", etc.
  • Border: Solid color trimmer, complimentary patterned bulletin board border, or Earth Day trimmer.
  • Decoration: Have your kiddos use construction paper to create superheroes, attaching their writing prompts to their newly created characters. Be sure to visit Buzzing About Second Grade for a closer look at the adorable writing prompts and for a link to Mrs. D. Lue Pann's storefront at Teachers Notebook where she sells the templates!
