We Can Help The Earth... - Earth Day Bulletin Board
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
We're so excited to be able to share with you a bulletin board that was submitted by the super talented Michelle Baldwin of Apples and ABC's! Perfect for your Seuss unit or Earth Day, this display was inspired by Seuss's The Lorax and brings just the right mix of color and learning to the classroom!
The Lorax, Truffula Trees, and Writing, OH MY!
Your kiddos will have a blast creating the various elements for the bulletin board! First, invite them to create a Lorax from orange and yellow construction paper and, drawing from your classroom discussion, script a way they can help save the Earth onto their character cutout. [NOTE: Be sure to visit Apples and ABC's to see the adorable Truffula tree graphic organizer Michelle created/used for the discussion!]
Next, because we love the photo elements Michelle included, have your kiddos create Lorax mustache props {using yellow construction paper and craft sticks} and take a picture of the whole group in front of the bulletin board!
