- Background: Cover the entire board with purple background paper. Cut two long strips of maroon bulletin board paper - one six inches wide and the other three inches wide. Scallop one of the edges on each strip and attach to the top and bottom of the board.

- Decoration: Cut large ornament shapes from bulletin board paper of assorted colors.
