Hero Headquarters - Superhero Themed Bulletin Board
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
While looking for fun superhero themed boards, we stumbled across this logo for Standard Publishing's 'Hero Headquarters' vacation bible school and thought it would make a fun classroom bulletin board - at school or church! Paired with an activity that introduces the 'Super Kids' in your classroom - perhaps using this fun printable from Matt James over at Party Ideas by a Pro {pictured below} - you'll have a colorful and dynamic back-to-school/'welcome' board for next year!
Hero Headquarters Bulletin Board
- Background: Cover the top two-thirds with aqua bulletin board paper. Cut a long strip of purple background paper, drawing the silhouette of a cityscape onto the paper and using scissors to cut it out. Use oil pastels, craft paint, or even crayons to add shadows/detailing, then mount the cutout onto the bottom of the board.
- Title: "Hero Headquarters! Meet the 'Super Kids' of ____________ [Mrs. Nelson's Class, Room 203, Kindergarten, etc.]!" - We love the logo idea - incorporating the title, superhero silhouettes, etc. Perhaps you might use your classroom projector system to enlarge the image, trace it onto white bulletin board paper, and then use craft paint to color it in.
- Border: Red wavy trimmer.
- Decoration: Use your students' superhero profiles, arranging them around the board along with photos!
