Here's another patriotic design that would work great for any early childhood classroom! With it's simple elements and design, this board is sure to provide fun, festive decor without a lot of hassle {i.e. it's perfect for those short holiday 'seasons' where you want to change the decorations, but don't want to spend hours on a design that will be taken down after only a few days}.

Patriotic Bulletin Board Idea

• Background: Light blue bulletin board paper.
• Title: "Every Heart Beats True 'Neath the Red, White, and Blue!"
• Border: The original design did not feature a border, but you might consider adding a complimentary solid color trimmer or flag border.
• Decoration: 1) The Bears. Either draw a bear template by hand, using it to trace and cut the bear shapes from construction paper of various colors, adding all the detailing with markers, or find a 'patriotic' bear coloring page that can be printed directly onto colored paper. Cut ovals from white card stock or construction paper, drawing stars or pasting colorful star cutouts in the center and adding them to the bear shapes. 2) The Flags. Purchase small flags from your local Walmart/home store for a fun three-dimensional element or create your own using card stock and markers.
