Winter Recycled Water Bottle Ornament Kids Craft

Check out these adorable recycled bottle ornaments made by Michele of Michele Made Me! While there are some craft knives and needles involved, we think this craft can be done with crafters young and old ...you'll simply have to complete more steps for the younger crowd!

Supplies You'll Need

  • Recycled water bottles
  • Craft knife
  • Scissors
  • Acrylic craft paint in assorted colors
  • Paint brushes
  • Tapestry needle
  • String

We adore the cutesy solid color ornaments, but you might also consider using other painting techniques for a unique look. Try splatter painting, painting with a sponge, fingerprint painting {covering the entire surface with paint fingerprints}, etc. You might also use multiple colors or various shades of the same color.

Michele put together a fabulous photo tutorial over at Michele Made Me so be sure to check it out!
