If you have an owl-themed classroom, this Valentine's Day design from Kristy Beltran is sure to fit right in! With bright colors, adorable heart owl accents, and an endearing message this is a fun board for any classroom - not just the owl-themed ones!

Owl Always Love You!

  • Background: Light blue bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "Owl Always Love You!" -  We think it's adorable how Kristy arranged the title words onto construction paper cloud cutouts!
  • Border: Valentine's Day themed, owl themed, or complimentary patterned trimmer.
  • Decoration: 1) The Branches. Cut branch shapes from brown construction paper, arranging them along the sides of the bulletin board. Freehand the accents or, if you want more precise detailing, use a free template found online - like this one from at Plays Well With Paper. 2) The Owls. While, of course, you are more than welcome to freehand your own owl template, we found this fabulous FREE pattern over at Classroom Compulsion.

All you'll need to do is add a heart to the body of the owl to better mimic the original board design. Additionally, while you can use plain construction paper in assorted Valentine's Day colors {pinks, purples, red, etc.}, to add visual interest, we also suggest adding in some fun patterned scrapbook paper! 3) The Finishing Details. Add small heart cutouts and/or other Valentine's Day or owl themed accents as desired.
