Have A Wild & Crazy Valentine's Day! - Monster Themed Bulletin Board

Owl Themed Holiday Bulletin Board Idea

Remember this adorable owl themed bulletin board Lori over at Mud Pie Studio put together for the holiday season? [We're still loving that owl with reindeer antlers!] Well, she gave it a bit of a facelift for Valentine's Day and we think it turned out wildly cute!

Monster Themed Valentine's Day Bulletin Board Idea

Have A Wild & Crazy Valentine's Day!

  • Background: Blue bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "Have A Wild & Crazy Valentine's Day!"
  • Border: The original bulletin board doesn't have a border. If you wanted to use one, try a complimentary colored/patterned trimmer!
  • Decoration: 1) The Monsters. As with the owl board all you'll need are pieces of white poster board and Crayola markers to create festive characters for your board! Simply use pencil to sketch the monster shapes onto the paper, then trace and add detailing with the markers - easy peasy! 2) The Embellishments. While Lori left the tissue paper "snow" along the bottom of the board, she exchanged the cotton ball "snowflakes" with red and pink hearts.

We just love how, with a few simple changes, you can get a bit more milage out of your bulletin board designs! Well done, Lori!
