Working with clay is a great fine motor builder for young crafters! When we stumbled across these gorgeous handmade ornaments over at Kidspot, we thought they would make a great addition to your holiday crafting plans. Not only will molding and pressing the clay strengthen hand muscles, playing with the smooth pliant dough provides a fun sensory crafting experience and exploring the transferred prints created using familiar objects found around the house/yard will help students sharpen their observation skills - e.g. the clay prints are sure to accentuate details they may not have noticed before! {Extra bonus, the ornaments are simply beautiful and will take some of the decorating burden off yourself!}
