Handy Helpers! - Disney Themed Classroom Helpers Display

Disney Themed Classroom Helpers and Classroom Management Bulletin Board IdeaAnother great theme for the early childhood classroom is a Disney theme! Fun and recognizable characters, cutesy patterns, and lots of vibrant color - we know your kiddos will love learning in such a colorful and inviting environment! Here's a cute Mickey Mouse themed classroom helper bulletin board that offers a handy way to keep track of who is playing what role in the classroom each week.

Handy Helpers!

  • Background: Yellow bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "Handy Helpers!" - For an authentic 'Disney look', use the free font, Waltograph, and word processing software to create your own bulletin board letters from red and white polka dot scrapbook paper.
  • Border: Polka dot bulletin board trimmer.
  • Decoration: 1) The Mickey Cutouts. Create your own template or find one online, printing the shapes onto black card stock and cutting them out. Cover the bottom half of each Mickey shape with red card stock and add two small white circles - mimicking Mickey's pants/buttons. Label each Mickey cutout with a classroom job using a silver Sharpie marker or liquid white out. [NOTE: If you have a personal cutting machine, you could create letters using the Waltograph font and white card stock. You might also consider simply printing the job titles onto adhesive labels - again using the Waltograph font - and sticking them to the cutouts or even creating the Mickey cutouts digitally, printing them onto card stock, and laminating them for durability.] 2) The Gloves. We downloaded this glove template from Disney Baby and used a simple paint program to change the light blue accents to black. Print the gloves onto white card stock, script a student's name onto each glove, and use the cutouts to assign classroom jobs.
