Jill over at Meet the Dubiens shared this awesome craft she did with her kiddos for Earth Day and, with its inspirational message, we thought it would make a nice addition to your lessons. While Earth Day is the perfect time to talk about pollution, recycling, and doing our part to take care of the earth, we also agree with Jill in that it offers a fabulous opportunity for talking about diversity - "teaching our kids that there are people of different color, race, and religion all over this world, but we are all the same and we need to treat everyone kindly and with respect."

For the full project tutorial, be sure to visit Meet the Dubiens! And, while you're there, stick around - Jill is one crafty lady and she has a lot of great craft ideas that would work great in the classroom!
