Recycled Magazine Silhouettes for Earth Day!
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Earth Day is next Monday and, if you're looking for a fun project to do with your kiddos, these recycled magazine silhouettes would make lovely individual or collaborative projects! Simply pick a silhouette, trace it onto heavy-weight art paper or recycled cardboard, then cut strips of recycled magazine pages, glue them onto the shape, and use Mod Podge to seal the collage. To finish the project, trace the silhouette onto a second sheet of art paper, cut out the shape, and use it to 'frame' the collage.
A wonderful way to incorporate recycling into your crafting plans for Earth Day! And the results are super colorful and fun - they'll make an excellent classroom display!
