The Lorax Recycled Puppet Theater Craft

Inspired by the popular Seuss children's story, The Lorax, Kathleen over at Katydid and Kid created this awesome recycled puppet theater! Collecting items from around the house {empty cereal boxes, newspaper, scraps of fabric, items from the craft closet, etc}, she repurposed the materials to construct a working theater complete with puppet, providing her kiddos with a great pretend play opportunity - retelling the story and crafting new tales!
Whether you create one theater to add to the pretend play corner or have each of your students craft their own, we think this is a great project to add to your plans for Earth Day or Seuss's birthday/Read Across America!
