Planting A Rainbow - Earth Day Craftivity!
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
We love mixing literature and crafting and this adorable craftivity, created by Wendy and Sherry of Kiboomu, would be a fabulous addition to your Earth Day Lessons!
Planting A Rainbow
This popular children's book written by Lois Ehlert follows a mother and daughter as they create a beautiful {and colorful!} flower garden - helping children understand how to plant bulbs, seeds, and seedlings, and nurture their growth. Earth Day is all about helping students learn how to take care of the Earth - what things are good for it and what things are harmful to it. This story offers a great opportunity to teach children about cultivating the Earth so that it can thrive into something beautiful!
The adorable craft Wendy and Sherry designed to go with the story, as well as the fun song they recommend, creates a well-rounded activity that we know your kiddos will love!
