Here's a cute Mother's Day craft for the younger crowd - combining coloring with some great scissor/fine motor practice! We found this project over at Kids @ Mount Prospect Public Library and thought, with the FREE tea pot and poem tea cup template, it could be a quick and easy craft to squeeze in between lessons. I {Kayla} actually remember making this for my mother in 2nd grade and it was a big hit!

Supplies You'll Need

We love the poem the project creators chose, but we also wanted to let you know that there's another, more humorous, poem idea over at The Virtual Vine that would fit really well with this project as well! Simply click over to the site and scroll down to the heading "Poem and Tea" for the alternative!

For the project details and the awesome printable template, be sure to visit MPPL!
