Labeling Fun - The Parts of an Apple

By Kayla • April 3, 2018

Oh my goodness! There are so many apple themed goodies over at What the Teacher Wants! If you're not already a fan of Rachelle and Natalie's blog, we suggest you head over and check out all their fabulous teaching resources and ideas! We love all of their apple activities and think they would be perfect for Johnny Appleseed Day {or even a fall unit!}, here's a sneak peek at our favorite lesson...

How stinkin' adorable is this?! As a science component, Rachelle and her kiddos learned about the parts of an apple. First, they worked together as a class to create a diagram of an apple and then they practiced labeling the parts of an apple in their science journals as well.

Rachelle's lesson has inspired lots of classrooms! Check out how other teachers have implemented this craftivity...
