Happy President's Day!

If you're still focusing on presidents this week, we found this adorable door display that Leslie Ann over at Life in First Grade created with her students last year and thought it would make a nice addition to your holiday decor! It's super festive and we think your kiddos will really get into creating their own "Uncle Sam" hat for the display!

While your kiddos can certainly copy an example craft, we suggest providing your kiddos with a hat template. Amanda over at Kaboose provides a fabulous Uncle Sam hat template {pictured above} for FREE that should work perfectly! Simply, have your students trace, cut, and assemble - then arrange the crafts on the display!

Hats Off To Our Presidents!

  • Background: White bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "Hats Off To Our Presidents!"
  • Border: Use themed and/or colorful patterned trimmers to create a layered look!
  • Decoration: Arrange your students' Uncle Sam hat crafts around the display!
