By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Apples offer a great theme for back-to-school or fall and, if you're on the lookout for a fun craft that doubles as a cool seasonal classroom decoration, try these glue watercolor resist apples that can be strung together to create a fun garland! The process is super easy, making this the perfect project for little crafters as well as big crafters, and the results are sure to be unique.
How to create your own...
- Provide each of your kiddos with a 3 x 4 piece of watercolor or regular art paper.
- Invite them to use drip glue to draw an apple shape onto the paper.
- Once the glue has dried, armed with paintbrushes and watercolor paints, have students color over the apple shape with watercolors!
Once the prints have dried, cut small slits in the top corners of each apple painting, string a ribbon through the slits, and voila, you have a custom garland to display in the classroom or hallway!
