How gorgeous are these spin art paintings shared by Anna of The Imagination Tree?! While we've seen spin art projects floating around Pinterest and other great sites, we loved how the vibrant/glittery paints popped when splashed against the dark paper backdrop! Quick and easy to set up - all you'll need is a recycled salad spinner, some paper, and paints - we know this project will be a hit with your kiddos!

What they'll love...

  • Handling the paint bottles (which, incidentally, is a great fine motor builder!)
  • Pumping the salad spinner
  • Exploring how different color combinations will mix
  • Opening up the spinner to see each unique design

And, of course, this project is quite timely as well. If you're looking for a fun summer or Independence Day activity to share with your kiddos, these spin art fireworks will certainly make a splash!

For the full project write-up and lots of great photos, be sure to visit The Imagination Tree. And, while you're there, be sure to check out the other fun projects Anna and her kiddos have done together!
