Looking for a meaningful way to give back to the men and women who faithfully serve our country this Memorial Day? We found out about Cards for Soldiers - a nonprofit organization that sends handmade, blank cards to deployed soldiers who use them to stay in touch with family and friends back home - through Air Force Wife and thought this might be a really neat way for your kids/students to get involved!

Since there's no Hallmark store for them to run to for a birthday or 'thinking of you' card, this is a simple, yet thoughtful way in which your kiddos can reach out to and encourage our servicemen and women. Please note that Pam, the face behind Cards for Soldiers, has posted a shipment schedule as well as card size/design specifications, so if you're interested in participating, be sure to read these!
