While perusing Pinterest for fun crafts for kids, we stumbled upon this puzzle project from Oops I Craft My Pants. Not only is it a simple and fun craft to do with your new students, but it also is a great reminder that even though each of your kiddos is different - equipped with a unique personality, abilities, and interests - each plays a special and important part in the classroom. As Francisca puts it, "each individual piece is beautiful on its own, but what a masterpiece you get when you put them all together!"

Whether you leave the puzzle in pieces for students to reassemble time and again throughout the year or preserve and frame the finished product, we think this is a phenomenal community building craft that emphasizes acceptance and celebrates diversity!
