Quick & Easy Memorial Day Game
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
We found this simple game idea over at FamilyEducation.com and thought it might make a fun review game for Memorial day {because of the patriotic colors, of course}! While Allison focused the game on basic counting and number recognition, you could tailor the game to your kiddos' skill level...
- Add numerals to each side of the die and number words to the playing cards.
- Add various pictures to each side of the die and matching beginning letter sounds to the playing cards.
- Add various pictures to both the die and playing cards, inviting students to identify rhyming pairs.
- Add simple addition/subtraction problems to each side of the die and the corresponding answers to the playing cards.
- Add sequences of numbers to each side of the die and the missing numbers to the playing cards.
The game is simple to create and is a fun way to help your preschoolers review various concepts learned throughout the year!
