Have you gotten your St. Patrick's Day lessons together yet? We found this fabulous {FREE!} printable activity over at A Differentiated Kindergarten and thought it would make a great addition to your plans! Here's the gist... Download Marsha's fantastic printable, cut the shamrock cards apart, and hide them around the room. Then, send your kiddos on a scavenger hunt! When they encounter a shamrock card, invite them to identify the object displayed and sound out/write the word on their recording sheet {also provided in the download!}. It's as simple as that! We love that it provides students with a chance to get out of their seats and we think it's a great way to assess each students' skill level since Marsha includes a variety of CVC, CCVC, and CVCC words.

For the free download, be sure to visit A Differentiated Kindergarten! And, as always, have a look around - Marsha offers lots of great lesson ideas/printables for the early childhood classroom that we know you'll love!
