Homemade - Colorful I-Spy Books
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Teachers certainly have a busy enough summer, but if you're looking for a project to tackle over the next few months that will strengthen your kiddos visual discrimination, early reading, numeral recognition, and counting skills - and, of course, one that can be completed with the toys already on your classroom shelves - check out these gorgeous homemade i-spy books from Delia Creates!
Supplies You'll Need
- Toys {and lots of them! LEGO blocks, Matchbox cars, wooden blocks, block letters, plastic animals and figures, etc.}
- White poster board or bulletin board paper
- Camera
- Photo album
Set these books out during free play and find them a permanent place in your classroom library. They take a bit of work {with or without computer savvy-ness}, but they're magnificent and certainly worth the effort! The best part is, depending on the age and skill level of your students, you can make them as hard or as easy as you like! Be sure to visit the original post for a full length tutorial!
