Friendly Ghost Halloween Activities
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Deb Chitwood, creator of Living Montessori Now and contributor to PreK+K Sharing, recently shared a fabulous post chock full of friendly ghost themed activities that are sure to be a hit with your little ones this Halloween season. Number recognition. Counting. Simple addition. Color recognition. These are just a few of the skills your kiddos will have a chance to review and practice using the fun activities recommended by Deb.
While you'll have to visit PreK+K Sharing for the full line-up, here are a few things we love...
- The sunflower seed base used in the color/shape ghost look and find sensory bin. [NOTE: You might also use pumpkin seeds!]
- The homemade ghost manipulatives/counters made by adding eyes and a mouth to large lima beans with a black permanent marker.
- The cutesy Halloween clip art and fonts!
To check out all the great exercises Deb recommends for Halloween, be sure to visit PreK+K Sharing!
