We love this first day of school {or Open House/'Meet the Teacher" night} activity from Katie over at Little Warriors! As a way to get her kinders more comfortable with routines and acclimated to the room, she sent them on a scavenger hunt and invited them to find important items and locations.

You might include...

  • Their locker and desk
  • The teacher's desk
  • The trash can
  • The calendar and/or classroom schedule
  • The reading center or classroom library
  • The computer table
  • The art center
  • The pretend play corner

We think this is a fun way to help your kiddos explore and get comfortable with the in their new learning environment!
