Here's a super simple DIY literacy station that you're sure to get a lot of mileage out of - craft stick letter building! Morgan over at Tot Treasures posted this great idea and we thought it would make a great 'rainy day' activity.

Supplies You'll Need

Along with the building materials, you might also consider adding a 'craft stick building guide' to the box. As you assemble the activity, take time to actually form the various letters, numerals, and shapes with craft sticks. Use a digital camera to take pictures as you go, then print the photos and place them in an inexpensive album. When your kiddos pull out the building sticks to practice, they'll have examples to copy if needed!

For this awesome activity, be sure to visit Tot Treasures!
