We recently stumbled across this colorful activity created by Randi, creator of Teach It With Class and featured writer at Simply Centers, and had to pass it along. Perfect for a spring or summer center, as well as a gardening or insect unit, we know your kinders will have a blast with this comprehensive learning/review activity!
The activity, using printed words/numerals or even clip art images, can be used to review lots of different topics/concepts/skills...
- Math facts
- Early math skills - i.e. number recognition, number words, tally marks, counting, etc.
- Word families
- Rhyming words
- Beginning letter sounds
The best part is Randi provides the template - for FREE - at her Teachers Pay Teachers site. All you have to do is customize it to fit the learning goals of your students!
