How fun is this science experiment from Crystal over at Growing A Jeweled Rose?! A twist on the classic chemical reaction between vinegar and baking soda, Crystal "spruced it up" for the holidays and we're certain it will be a hit with your kinders!

What we love...

  • The sensory elements. The red food coloring and the peppermint extract provide your kiddos with the sights and smells of the holidays!
  • The fine motor elements. Placed in a cup with pipettes or a clear spray bottle, your kiddos will have an opportunity to build small motor control!

For the full activity, be sure to visit Growing A Jeweled Rose! And, while you're there, look around. Crystal and her daughter always have something fun planned!
