We absolutely love this holiday counting activity from Seeds of Knowledge. It offers your kiddos a great opportunity for strengthening one-to-one correspondence, numeral recognition, and fine motor skills! {And we really love that the activity doesn't get super fancy!}

Supplies You'll Need

  • Construction paper activity mats
  • Muffin tin or recycled container
  • Miniature Christmas present manipulatives

Use a marker to separate the pieces of construction paper into 12 sections, labeling each section with a different numeral. Provided with a container of the mini presents, invite your kiddos to identify the number in the space, count out the appropriate number of packages, and place them on the mat. So simple!

Be sure to head on over to Seeds of Knowledge for this and some other great winter themed center activity ideas!
