Writing Center Fun - Student Message Books
By Lori • April 3, 2018
This idea from Lori Rosenberg over at Teaching With Love and Laughter is perfect for getting to know your students and for helping them develop writing skills - message books!
Supplies You'll Need
- Composition notebooks
- Printed labels {Lori actually sells her fun labels at her TpT store!}
- Colorful pens
- Magazine organizer
Lori created fun printed topic labels for each notebook - Ouch!, Vacations, Sports, Friends, Toys & Games, School, What's on your mind?, etc. - and place the notebooks in the writing center for students to write in. The fun part, students can create new "posts" or respond to entries made by classmates. Not only will you get to know your students - your students will get to know each other too!
