While you can certainly use Carisa's fabulous Olympic themed calendar connections cards as flash cards, we also thought these Olympic sports flash cards from SparkleBox would make a fun learning tool!

Here are a few suggestions...

  • Print two sets - creating an individual file folder matching game activity or inviting your kiddos to play Concentration, Go Fish!, or another fun group game!
  • Provide students with a full set inviting them to put the cards in ABC order.
  • Go on a beginning letter sound scavenger hunt. Select a card and find items around the classroom that start with the same letter as the sport on the card.
  • Print multiples, inviting students to use the cards to create various patterns - i.e. AAB, ABB, ABC, etc.

There are tons of ways to incorporate these fun Olympic sports flash cards into your summer learning! Be sure to visit SparkleBox for this and lots of other great downloads!
