How fun is this pot of gold math activity from Kathleen over at Growing Kinders?! Simple to put together, your kinders will have a blast as they practice numeral recognition - 1 through 100!

The picture is pretty self-explanatory, but here's the gist. Use a permanent marker to print numbers onto gold gems/vase filler, placing them in a large cauldron. Providing your kinders with a number grid, invite them to pull a gem from the cauldron, identify the number on the gem, and color the corresponding number on their grid. Have them repeat the process until they've colored in their entire worksheet.

Simple, right?! For this activity and lots of other great St. Patrick's Day center ideas, be sure to visit Growing Kinders!
