Perfect for spring sensory play, we can almost guarantee that this fun pretend play activity from Wildlife Fun 4 Kids will be a hit with your preschoolers! Added to a spring bird unit (or even as a recycling component included in your Earth Day plans), we love that the entire nest is created from recycled and natural materials - recycled card board boxes, shredded newspaper, leaves, etc. While Penny created the life-sized nest before the activity, we think it's a great idea to get your kiddos help in adding the rest of the materials. They'll get the full experience of bird pretend play - from building a nest to actually nesting!

To see how Penny and her kiddos created their life-sized nest, be sure to visit Wildlife Fun 4 Kids!
