Welcome To Camp Read-A-Lot! - Camping & Reading Themed B2S Display
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
Remember these awesome camping themed posters/displays from yesterday?
Lori of Mud Pie Studio sent us her fun designs and we promised yesterday that we'd be back with the 'crown jewel' of her camping collection, and so, without further ado, check it out!
Featuring twelve hand drawn/painted popular children's book characters, how fun is this board?! The brown butcher paper background goes great with the camping theme, we love the pops of color against the neutral background, and we know students will have a blast searching the board for their favorite book characters!
Here are some close-ups of the characters...
Skippy Jon Jones and Frog & Toad...
Grouchy Ladybug, Pete the Cat and Bear Snores On...
Charlotte’s Web...
And a nod to Harry Potter, Fly Guy, Dr. Seuss, Wimpy Kid, and Judy Moody! [Oh, and don't miss the adorable raccoons from The Kissing Hand - they're featured in the picture of the full display!]
Welcome To Camp Read-A-Lot!
Along with the book characters, Lori added camping gear to go along with the theme - i.e. a tent, a fire pit, characters roasting marshmallows, a fishing pond, camp direction signs, etc. Paired with colorful bulletin board letters and a fun patterned trimmer, this design is perfect for any early childhood learning space!
This board was actually entered in our back-to-school bulletin board contest - we just couldn't wait to feature it - so be sure to head over and check out the entry!
