Can you believe that Thanksgiving is in less than two weeks?! Nicole over at The Activity Mom is getting her kiddos into the holiday spirit with this fun turkey themed alphabet game. Great for reinforcing letter recognition and phonemic awareness, there are several variations you can play and we know you're preschoolers will have a blast!

Game Variations

  • Print one set of cards, place them in a bag, and have students take turns picking one out, identifying the letter on the card, and finding an object in the room that starts with the same letter.
  • Print two sets of cards, placing them face down on a hard surface, and inviting your student to use them to play Concentration.
  • Print one set of the cards, place them face down in the middle of the table, and have your preschoolers take turns picking one out and identifying the letter or letter sound. If they identify it correctly, they get to keep the card. The student with the most cards at the end of the game, wins!
