Back To School Bulletin Board Idea

Carson Dellosa's "Moose & Friends" is another one of our favorite bulletin board collections! The fun patterns/colors and cutesy animals really make for displays that pop! Here's a fun welcome design that's sure to be a hit with the kiddos.

Nuts About First Grade!

  • Background: Light blue bulletin board paper.
  • Title: "NUTS About First Grade!"
  • Border: Create a layered look using a brown polka dot trimmer and CD's "Moose & Friends" straight border!
  • Decoration: 1) The Tree. Unfortunately, the "Moose & Friends" collection does not have a tree. You might opt to make your own out of natural butcher paper and construction paper. Scrunching the paper to make the trunk and branches offers a super fun three-dimensional effect that's sure to wow! In the digital mock-up above, we used another one of Carson Dellosa's products - the owl bulletin board set. 2) The Squirrel and Acorns. The squirrel comes from the "Moose & Friends" bulletin board set and the acorns, which make the perfect place to write student names and/or display student photos, are simple cutouts that can be purchased separately. [NOTE: The bulletin board set comes with 45 small and large acorns. Depending on the sizes available, you might have to supplement with the cutouts!] Of course, all of these things can be created by hand with clip art or hand drawn images and paper!
