Look Who's Been Spotted! - Back-To-School Wall Display
By Kayla • April 3, 2018
How very adorable is this ladybug themed back-to-school wall display from Shae over at Kindergarten Cupcake Crumbs?! We haven't seen the inside of the classroom, but we're dreaming of black and white polka dot labels, vibrant red organizational bins, and a whole lot of red, black, and white fun!
Look Who's Been Spotted!
- Background: Cover the top two-thirds of the display with light blue bulletin board paper. Add green background paper to the bottom third, using scissors to fringe the top to make it look like grass.
- Title: "Look Who's Been Spotted in ____________ [Kindergarten, Mrs. Nelson's Class, Room 203, etc.]!"
- Border: Complimentary solid colored trimmer or summer themed border.
- Decoration: 1) The Ladybugs. Cut large half circles from red bulletin board paper. Use black craft paint to edge the shapes and add dots to the ladybug bodies. Create heads for the ladybugs, cutting circles from black background paper, using white craft paint to add a face, and adding chenille stem/craft puff antennae. 2) The Sunflowers. We're not exactly sure what Shae used for the center, but we suggest using paper bowls painted brown. Cut two layers of petals for each sunflower from yellow bulletin board paper. Attach the painted centers and place the giant sunflowers around the display. We love how Shae created a 3D effect with the petals! Once the flowers are placed, twist scraps of green bulletin board paper to create the stems, and cut out large leaves from the same color background paper.
