Michelle over at Teach123 suggests holding a mock election with your preschoolers and provides a fun t-chart that students can fill in while 'debating' the pros and cons of extending recess by 15 minutes before casting their official ballots!
TeachWithMe.com offers a 39-page election number packet that will have your kiddos strengthening counting/skip counting skills, numeral recognition, letter tracing/writing skills, number sequencing, early addition/subtraction skills, and patterning skills!
Originally created for President's Day, these printables from Kathleen over at Growing Kinders are adorable and would certainly be appropriate for an election unit. The writing prompt has your kiddos put themselves in the president's shoes and the literacy bear coloring page is a great way to provide your preschoolers with sight word practice!
Katie of Teacher to the Core also provides a free election themed writing prompt where students can write a letter of congratulations to the new president!
Marlana of Lil Country Kindergarten highlights math skills in her fun election day freebie! Students practice counting skills, strengthen numeral recognition, and build fine motor skills with the fun match and lift activity.
All of these offer great options and supplements for your election day lessons! However, if you're still looking for more fun printables, check out these great options on Teachers Pay Teachers.
