My First Day of Preschool - Back To School Activity

By Kayla • April 3, 2018

Back To School Art and Writing Preschool Printable The first days of preschool often include fun icebreaker activities and get-to-know-you games to help new students feel welcomed as well as help them get acquainted/comfortable with the classroom setting. This simple worksheet is a great activity to add to your list - not only will it provide a way to assess the skill level of your new students (i.e. do they know any of their letters, do they know how to spell their name, what is their drawing ability, etc.), when completed again at the end of the year, it's also a fun way to see how your kiddos have grown! Not to mention, added to some fun colored/patterned scrapbook paper and hung on the wall, it makes a super cute back to school display! --> Like the one below!

Thanks for a great idea for day one and for making it free since so much needs to be purchased for the classroom in the beginning of the year.
